Zodiac Baracuda G3 and G2 parts

The Baracuda has one moving part, the diaphragm, and it is the part that wears out. The G3 takes W69698; the discontinued G2 takes W81701 and its own 24-fin disc.

Before you order parts

  • Set the flow so the red indicator on the hose gauge sits at 3. Readings of 0 to 2 are low and 4 to 6 high. Water at 60 °F or colder may need more flow.
  • Replace the foot pad when the channels between the treads are 1/8 in deep or less.
  • Hose length: the farthest point in the pool plus one section from a corner or end, plus two from the center.
