Hayward The PoolCleaner (Poolvergnuegen) parts

Hayward publishes no parts list for The PoolCleaner, so the numbers here come from Hayward's own part pages and Hayward Support answers. Each row says which.

Before you order parts

  • Flow check: the right front wheel should turn 11 to 14 RPM, about 7 to 10 inches of mercury on a vacuum gauge. It cleans down to 8 RPM but will not climb walls.
  • Three throats come in the box: small for low flow and variable-speed pumps, medium by default, large for high flow.
  • Hayward Support recommends at least a 1 hp pump.

Weigh: Hayward Support says a 0.5 hp pump may be inadequate. The flow check is wheel speed: 11 to 14 RPM on the right front wheel. Below about 8 RPM it cleans the floor but will not climb.
