Polaris 280 and 280 Black Max parts

The 280 is a two-jet pressure cleaner on a shaft drive, run by a booster pump. Bags, tires, the sweep hose and its scrubber wear out first, and the Polaris warranty excludes all four.

Before you order parts

  • Wheel speed sets it up: 28 to 32 RPM, adjusted with the restrictor disks (10-112-00) and the pressure relief valve.
  • It backs up about every 3 minutes. If it stops reversing, the G52 back-up valve is the usual part.
  • The 280 is shaft drive (C86) and has no belts. Belt kits listed for the 360 and 380 do not fit it.

RightFit and other aftermarket bags and tires are sold as comparable to K13, K16 and C10. They are not Polaris parts.

Suits: Pools that already have a booster pump and a dedicated pressure line.

Weigh: Polaris tunes it by wheel speed, 28 to 32 RPM, using the restrictor disks and the pressure relief valve. Bags, tires, sweep hoses and scrubbers are wear items outside the warranty.
